Welcome to the Writing Center at Metropolitan Community College
The Writing Center is made up of current and former English and English language learning teachers, working under the title of writing consultants. We are committed to providing writing encouragement to students, faculty, and community members. We like working with writers who are learning about any subject, and we especially welcome writers who are and have been historically unwelcomed in white academic spaces. Essentially, we do our best to create a safe space for writers, students, and community members to get together to talk about writing.
